Oneday trekking

Day 1
You will get pick up by 9.00 - 9.30 a.m. from the hotel or the guest house where you stay.
After get pick up we will drive up to the mountains and jungle north of Chiang Mai for about 1.30 hours. On the way we stop short time at the local market where the guide will buy food supplies for the trek up into the hills.
The drive will continue to the trek start point where we will have lunch. After lunch and relax we start jungle trail walk about 3 hours. During walk we can take it easy, stop to take photos from the view, visit some tribe village and learn the natural vegetation. We will arrive at the private jungle camp -the final destination at the end of this first day - near by waterfall. We will have dinner and overnight here. Also here we relax, swimming and enjoy magic of the jungle.
At night you can enjoy the company of your fellow trekkers chatting, playing funny games.

Day 2
We will have a simple but filling breakfast at the camp. After breakfast we will have jungle trail walk about 3 hours. Stop to relax and swim at the secluded waterfall, an ideal spot and very good time to take a shower and cool off after a lot of sweat from the first of the day walking. Visit to amazing bat cave on the way. You can survey inside or outside the cave.

During the day's trek you will also visit a Lahu hill tribe village where you will see both black and red Lahu people.
Let’s continue to walk to the pick up point car for transfer back to Chiang Mai where you will be dropped at your Chiang Mai hotel at 5.00 pm.

This Two day only walking trekking experience is ideal for those looking for a more nature and adventure without elephant or any river rafting in less tourist area.
This trek will take you away from the usual trekked routes for some true off the beaten path trekking and takes in overnight in hill tribe villages. Hang out....relaxing.... and enjoy in the nature, also get the chance to know your fellow trekkers from over the world a whole lot better in the exclusive private route. Amidst you with nature.

What to bring / What to wear

  • Walking shoes and sandals or flip flops (if possible not new ones)
  • Mosquito repellent, Sun hat, sun screen, Swim wear, Towel, A flashlight
  • Personal toiletries, including toilet paper
  • Personal first-aid kit (plasters, etc.)
  • Any prescription medication you require like an asthma inhaler or other meds.
  • Clothes (long & short sleeves, long pants), Raincoat
    From November to March it is a little cold in Chiang Mai in the mornings, so please bring something to keep yourself warm until the day heats up. From May to October it is the rainy season in Thailand so please bring a raincoat and/or a change of clothes.
  • Drinking water, a small amount of cash to buy water, snacks, and souvenirs during the trek.

Additional Information

  • The temperatures during the day are quite hot throughout the year and the sun is burning mercilessly down at you. You should bring a large drinking water bottle and you must protect your skin from sunburn.
  • During the day it is best to wear long trousers and a shirt with long sleeves. Also you should wear a hat. (Thais usually cover every part of their body with clothes if they have to remain in the sun for long.)
  • During rainy season, from August to November, a rain coat or poncho may be appropriate.
  • From the end of November to the beginning of February it can become quite cold at night. Sometimes near freezing temperatures in high places. You should prepare some warm clothes if you go trekking during that time.
