Details

Day 1
You will get pick up by 9.00 - 9.30 a.m. from the hotel or the guest house where you stay. After get pick up we will drive out of the city towards the forested mountains north of Chiang Mai for about 1.30 hrs. On the way we will stop at the local market where your guide will be purchasing some of the food items which will be needed for the trek.

After get to the area we will break for lunch. Then we start jungle trail walking for about 3 hours. During walk we can take it easy, stop to take photos from the view, visit some tribe villages and learn the natural vegetation. Visit Hmong hill tribe village on the way where you will spend the time to walk around and see how they live. You will get the information about the cuture and life style. We will spend the night in our own bamboo hut. Have a evening meal and feel free to kick back and enjoy the night time with your fellow trekkers.

Day 2
We will have a simple but filling breakfast at the camp After breakfast we will have jungle trail walk for about 4 hours , taking plenty of stops along the way to enjoy the jungle and scenery. Stop to relax and swim at the secluded waterfall, an ideal spot and very good time to take a shower and cool off after a lot of sweat from the second of the day walking. We will have lunch at the waterfall. Then we walk to visit amazing bat cave on the way. You can survey inside or outside the cave. We will continue trekking and arrive to the private jungle camp near by waterfall. We will have dinner and overnight here. Here we relax, swim and enjoy magic of the jungle.
At night you can enjoy chatting, playing funny games with your fellow trekkers.

Day 3
After breakfast, we will walk about 3 hours through the jungle to enjoy the magic of the nature. Along the way we take it easy, stop to take some photos of the view or learn about nature vegetation form the guide. We have lunch in the jungle. Let’s continue to walk to the pick up point for transfer back to Chiang Mai where you will be dropped at your Chiang Mai hotel at 5.00 pm.

Day 3

  • Walking along jungle trails lunch
  • 5:30pm return to Chiang Mai hotel

This three day trekking is a fantastic experience for those who want to concentrate on trekking without the addition of elephants and other activities. Walk through beautiful jungle and enjoy the beautiful nature with amazing views. You will relax and swim at waterfalls and see the bat cave, and visit different hilltribe villages in their own culture and lifestyles, spend the night at private jungle camp. The more extended time we spend in nature, the more likely we are to take steps to protect our planet.

What to bring / What to wear

  • Walking shoes and sandals or flip flops (if possible not new ones)
  • Mosquito repellent, Sun hat, sun screen, Swim wear, Towel, A flashlight
  • Personal toiletries, including toilet paper
  • Personal first-aid kit (plasters, etc.)
  • Any prescription medication you require like an asthma inhaler or other meds.
  • Clothes (long & short sleeves, long pants), Raincoat
    From November to March it is a little cold in Chiang Mai in the mornings, so please bring something to keep yourself warm until the day heats up. From May to October it is the rainy season in Thailand so please bring a raincoat and/or a change of clothes.
  • Drinking water, a small amount of cash to buy water, snacks, and souvenirs during the trek.

Additional Information

  • The temperatures during the day are quite hot throughout the year and the sun is burning mercilessly down at you. You should bring a large drinking water bottle and you must protect your skin from sunburn.
  • During the day it is best to wear long trousers and a shirt with long sleeves. Also you should wear a hat. (Thais usually cover every part of their body with clothes if they have to remain in the sun for long.)
  • During rainy season, from August to November, a rain coat or poncho may be appropriate.
  • From the end of November to the beginning of February it can become quite cold at night. Sometimes near freezing temperatures in high places. You should prepare some warm clothes if you go trekking during that time.
  • Each activity the time is not approximate.
