The Highest Point in Thailand
Pick up from hotel then drive to Doi inthanon National park area for one and a half hour.
On the way up we will enjoy the beautiful scenery at the huge waterfall named Wachiritharn waterfall.
After that we will visit White Karen hilltribe village to see their life style and see handmade waving cotton.
Then going to see the second waterfall named Sititharn waterfall. Continue to restaurante for lunch and have Thai set menu.
The next stop is two adjacent Pagodas which were built to honor the 60th birthday of the King and Queen in 1987 and 1992 respectively. One is called Naphamethinidon, meaning "by the strength of the land and air", and the other, Naphaphonphumisiri, meaning "being the strength of the air and the grace of the land". These mirrored buildings are pagodas that have been located on the highest altitude in Thailand. Here admire the beauty of flower garden and the alpen roses.
Then take an easy nature trail walk to the Summit point of Highest peak in Thailand. Temperatures can be surprisingly cold so not forget a long sleeve jumper.
On the way down, stop at the Hmong Market. You’ll be back at your hotel in Chiang Mai by the early evening.

Doi inthanon National park is also known as the ‘Roof of Thailand’, which is the Highest mountain in Thailand.
Due to the high altitude, the park has high humidity and cold weather all year round. The average daily temperatures are normally around 10-12 °C. with temperatures reaching zero during winter (dec.to jan.)
The main attractions of the park are the summit of Doi Inthanon for its spectacular views, several waterfalls, the two chedis (stupas) dedicated to the king and queen’s 60th birthday anniversaries and the hiitribe villlage.
Today, the summit of Doi Inthanon is a popular tourist destination for both foreign and Thai tourists, with a peak of 12,000 visitors visiting the summit on New Year's Day.
